Ducati Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 (2025-2026) recall: rear brake hose, new repair required

Ducati Panigale V4

On February 12, 2026, Transport Canada published a recall notice for the following motorcycles. If you own one of these models, here is what you need to know.

Affected models

  • Ducati Panigale V4: 2025
  • Ducati Panigale V4 S: 2025
  • Ducati Streetfighter V4: 2025, 2026

The issue

On certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a Ducati dealer during Transport Canada recall no. 2025-030 may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. On certain motorcycles, the rear brake hose could become damaged by heat. This could lead to a brake fluid leak and cause reduced braking. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-030. Motorcycles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.

Safety risk

Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the heat protector.

To find out whether your motorcycle is affected, contact a Ducati dealer with your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy.
