Harley-Davidson Sportster S (2021-2026) recall: upper triple clamp, new inspection required
On February 13, 2026, Transport Canada published a recall notice for the following motorcycle. If you own this model, here is what you need to know.
Affected models
- Harley-Davidson Sportster S: 2021–2026
The issue
On certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a Harley-Davidson dealer during recall 0190 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-486) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second inspection and/or repair is required. On certain motorcycles, the upper triple clamp could fracture. If this happens, there could be a loss of control.
Safety risk
A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the upper triple clamp.
To find out whether your motorcycle is affected, contact a Harley-Davidson dealer with your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy.
