Kawasaki W230 (2025-2026) recall: turn signals may not work
On July 20, 2026, Transport Canada published a recall notice for the following motorcycle. If you own this model, here is what you need to know.
Affected models
- Kawasaki W230: 2025, 2026
The issue
On certain motorcycles, the turn signal bulbs may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the bulb(s) could fail, and the turn signal(s) may not work.
Safety risk
Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the turn signal bulbs.
To find out whether your motorcycle is affected, contact a Kawasaki dealer with your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy.
