Honda CB1000 (2025) recall: possible fuel leak
On March 27, 2026, Transport Canada published a recall notice for the following motorcycle. If you own this model, here is what you need to know.
Affected models
- Honda CB1000: 2025
The issue
On certain motorcycles, the fuel feed hose could disconnect from the fuel tank. If this happens, fuel could leak and the engine could stall while riding.
Safety risk
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a fuel leak near the rear tire could affect handling and control of the motorcycle and also increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to secure the angle sensor wiring harness and replace the fuel feed hose.
To find out whether your motorcycle is affected, contact a Honda dealer with your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy.
