Yamaha Ténéré 700 (2025) recall: turn signals may not work
On May 19, 2026, Transport Canada published a recall notice for the following motorcycle. If you own this model, here is what you need to know.
Affected models
- Yamaha Ténéré 700: 2025
The issue
On certain motorcycles, the meter (instrument cluster) may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the turn signals may not work.
Safety risk
Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Yamaha will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the meter.
To find out whether your motorcycle is affected, contact a Yamaha dealer with your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy.
